Inspection Quantity Basis

The inspection quantity basis is used to specify in System Setup, whether the quantity will be the Original Quantity or if it will exclude the grace amount. The option selected will become the default value in a Receiving Nonconformance. The following default inspection quantity bases are provided with the system:

• Original Quantity - If set to the original quantity, then when a receipt is processed and closed, if the number of defects is either over or short between the Total Quantity Ordered and the Total Quantity Received, then an NC is created
• Exclude Grace Amount - If set to exclude the grace quantity, then when a receipt is processed and closed, if the number of defects is either over or short between the Quantity Ordered and the Quantity Received, deducting the amount in the over or short in Receipt Setup’s Parameter to Create NC section in System Setup, then an NC is created.

User Rights

The above options are configured under SmartSolve’s List Manager. The following rights must be assigned to a user to manage or view the List Manager:

Rights	Description
LST_MANAGE	Allows the administrator to access the List Manager workspace.
